There are a variety of extra-curricular activities available to children in Years 1 and 2.
Football Club, Tennis Club and Multi-Sports take place in the mornings before school. Places are offered on a first-come-first served basis and a waiting list operates if the demand is greater than the number of places. The clubs are operated by experienced coaches within the school for a nominal fee.
Art Club also takes place before school. Places in Art Club are offered on a termly basis and there is a small charge.
In Year 2, children can join the Infant School Choir, which takes place during lunchtime in school.
Peripatetic Music Lessons
Children can learn to play the violin or the small guitar. Lessons can be shared with another pupil or on a one-to-one basis. As lessons take place during the school day, a rotating timetable is used to ensure that your child does not miss the same class time each week. As demand is usually very high, places are offered on a first come, first-served basis.
Fees for these lessons are payable directly to the music teacher.
