SCHOOL CLOSURE

Due to the ongoing CORVID-19 outbreak school will close at the end of the school day on Friday 20th March and remain closed until further notice in line with current government guidelines. Please see the letter below for clarifications:

As a country, we all need to do what we can to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

That is why the government has given clear guidance on self-isolation, household isolation and social distancing.

And the most recent scientific advice on how to further limit the spread of COVID-19 is clear. If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
That is why the government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend.

LATEST GOVT ADVICE

If your child is eligible to receive free school meals, please advise the school if you wish to continue to receive this provision whilst your child is not at school. The Havering Catering Service is currently planning to provide a 5 day food pack that can be collected from school for parents of children who are eligible for free school meals to make lunches for children. The catering team are working on the contents of such a pack in order to ensure that all dietary and allergen requirements are satisfied. Please click below to read the full statement.

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Rise Park Academy Trust, which comprises of the Sunbeams Nursery, Rise Park Infant School and Rise Park Junior School.

The Trust was opened in 2014, from which time it has gone from strength to strength, achieving two Ofsted Good judgements in May 2017.

Our flagship Early Years Centre was opened in 2013, followed by a state of the art Upper Junior School Block in 2015 and an innovative maintained nursery provision in 2017. We are now planning a joint Multi Use Games Area which is due to be constructed during 2020.

The Board of Directors, Local Advisory Board, Senior Leadership Team, staff team and pupils are very proud of our broad and varied provision, which is ably supported by an active and successful PTFA, as well as a very positive wider school community.

We welcome all parents, visitors and external agencies to work with us in partnership in order to continue to enhance and develop our overarching educational and pastoral offer.

We look forward to meeting you and working with you across our progressive multi academy trust
