Wellbeing

Wellbeing is central to all that we do at Rise Park Academies. The wellbeing of the Rise Park community is paramount, which is reflected in our core values and reinforced to the children regularly.

The NHS offers a great deal of support online to help us to Live Well. You can find advice, tips and tools to help you make the best choices about your health and wellbeing at www.nhs.uk/live-well.

We want you to be as comfortable, as healthy and as happy as you can be.

Wellbeing is not just the absence of disease or illness. It is a person's physical, mental, emotional and social health. Wellbeing is strongly linked to happiness.

At the NHS Live Well site, you can learn about keeping good relationships, being physically active, learning good skills, giving and being kind to others, and changing the way you think and feel about the world around you.

Mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, financial wellbeing and emotional wellbeing are often closely connected.

For example, being fitter and eating healthier is linked to being happier, more content. As another example, better financial health tends to be linked with better emotional well-being, even in difficult situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
